Epic or Useless Censoring at Anime

  Hello readers, sorry I'm too busy to post the Tier 4 Smartphone. At least i've managed to college. And I want to share some fun useless knowledge for you.

  Well, some comedy anime uses "useless censoring" to add their insanity points (insanity huh? yeah, insanity lol :p). By "useless", we can determine that the object that censored actually didn't need to be censored, in other words the censorship is intended as joke and just for fun. Sometimes this kind of censorship also censors something that we didn't really know, so it will make people who watch it become curious, "what's that thing?" which is, maybe, useless thing. I've collected some useless censorship from my anime base, and now I'm gonna share it. Let's start already.


1. Hayate no Gotoku!

I found one epic thing here. They covered the blood scene with some ridiculous "Can't Show" thingy.

Sorry, my friend added the line above.

There is some censorship that is intended as a joke as in any given instance of Hayate bleeding being censored by a sign reading "can't show this". The anime, like the manga, censors the references to other anime with "beep"-ing it or distort it. Well, it's really funny somehow.

2. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou

This one is more epic. They censored the centipedes that crawls t Motoharu's house. Err... Maybe not just centipedes, but others like cockroaches and such LOL. Actually, this is really useless, what's the benefit from censoring the insects? XD

There's a special episode (Specials 04.5) which shows the "uncensored form" of the insects.

Well, so I conclude that the reason why they censored the insects is just for fun and to lure the curiosity of the fans. Creative enough.

3. Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! (short: WataMote)

Well, since this anime is still ongoing (as this article posted), I only found one funny censorship here.

LOLed at this so much. They censored Tomoko's puke!

4. Seitokai Yakuindomo

Well, TOO MUCH! I found too much funny censors here! Not just from images, but the words! Here's the samples from imaged censors:

What's on earth is being censored on this opinion box?

Err... According to the nets, it's flower. They censor it just for fun, because when peoples insert their opinion on that box, it represents the defloration.

This one is really useless. We already know what is this for sure.

Seriously what the f*ck is this and why it's censored? That's just a flag!

They censor the words here, not just the one written at the board but the characters really mentioned the words (and censored).
